andra M. Diaz isn’t the kind of person most people think of when they think about temps. Diaz, 37, has a bachelor’s degree in accounting. She spent 10 years as a staff accountant and manager at a Miami timeshare company before becoming a temp. She could easily land a traditional, permanent job again if she wanted to.
